Cantonment Board Amritsar
Amritsar Cantonment was established in the year 1856. The Municipal facilities in the Cantonment Board are being provided by the Amritsar Cantt. Board. The Board is constituted under the provision of Cantt Act 2006. The Officer Commanding the station is the president of the Board. Vice President is elected from amongst the seven elected members.
With the objective of providing good quality municipal facilities, several development works have been executed in the Cantonment and the municipal infrastructure is being maintained and upgraded regularly to meet the rising expectation of the residents.
